Where will you be. . .

. . . in 8 years, 9 months, and 11 days?

I'll be watching a total solar eclipse!

So I just finished reading Every Soul a Star by Wendy Mass (the title comes from a C.S. Lewis quote) and it was awesome.

It's told from 3 narrators and has a great way of sucking you in and making you smarter at the same time. You should totally read it.

Great writing, great characters, awesome astronomy stuff. You should at least read it sometime in the next 8 years, 9months and 11 days.

Read read read it! Sorry, kind of incoherent right now. Anything you need to know about this besides that you have to read it?

  2. You know, you tell us to read this book, but you don't say why. I know you liked the book, but I want to know what it is about the book that you liked. It'll make me much more likely to actually read it. (I know you've already made me promise to read it, but still...)

  3. The book was cool because it gave insights into the minds and lives of really varied characters. The fun thing about them is that they are young and must interact together because of the situations the adults in their lives have put them in -- and they each find ways to develop good relationships and make valuable contributions. It affirms ones self worth and encourages the value of the individual -- in a very fun and indirect way. Hope that helps, Jacob.
