The #1 Best-selling Book of Everead

Hi guys!

So you know that I post about books all the time, and a lot of the time I link to those books on Amazon, and sometimes people buy them, for which I earn a few cents on the dollar.

Well today I learned how to do a cool thing! I learned how to embed a preview or a link to a preview! So, if you want to "Look Inside" a book on Amazon, I can now link to that! That's so cool.

When I found that out, I wanted to try it out right away. But what book should I do it with? I went on my Amazon Associates account and dug around a bit until I found out what book Everead has sold the most copies of.

Are you ready?

It's Wildfire Run by Dee Garretson!!!

Woohoo! How fun is that? I love this book! No wonder I've sold some copies. Let me tell you why it's an awesome book:

  1. It's perfect for the 8-12 crowd.
  2. It stars two main characters, one boy one girl. So kids can't complain that it's not for them based on gender.
  3. It has action and suspense! But the conflict, the source of potential harm, is a wildfire, not the violent actions of others.
  4. It has everything The Hunger Games has, but is age appropriate.
  5. It shows 12-year-olds keeping their heads on straight, caring about others, and working their way out of a dangerous situation
  6. Kittens.
Here is the fancy preview:

It has been way too long since I read this book! I need to reread it. I bet my eight-year-old would love it. What do you think? Know anybody who would like it?

UPDATE: Benjamin has now read it and gives it the thumbs up. :-)

And what do you think of the fancy new embedded preview feature and my spiffy pinterest-worthy image? :D

More books I recommend for pre-teens.
